The Band
Mystic was formed in autumn of 2001 by bandleader Frank ´Blackfire
´Gosdzik, who lived in Sao Paulo / Brasil for 6 years. Well
known as a songwriter and guitar player that already worked with bands
like Sodom (Expurse of sodomy, persecution mania, mortal way of life
, agent orange) and kreator (coma of souls, renewal, cause for conflict,
scenarios of violence)
after some successful test gigs, where frank already took part of
the Lead vocals besides his guitar work he worked on new song material,
which goes to tradicional thrash power metal with mystic atmorpheres..
There was en e.p. recorded independent on his own label wurstrecords
with four new tracks called: insane human race, strange ways, ordered
life and beautiful world and also a heavy version of the classic peter
gun.. Released in may 2002 in Brasil, where also a festival show called
da tribo in sao Paulo was played with success. After that the brasilian
and south American metalscene became aware of the band and more shows
were played all over brasil. The cd was also sold in germany and also
press releases. After line up changes there was a new 4 track demo
recorded at the da tribo studio in sao Paulo on a 24 track analog
machine, the tracks metropolis, warmonger, sound thrashing and valley
of suiciders were only used for promotion and label shopping.The band
is working on more new songs , for a new album and also a video clip
Of valley of suiciders is planned. With another line up change the
actual musicians are beside frank gosdzik on the guitar and vocals,
Luciano mello on drums and andré melhado on bass.
